General Settings: Allow Refunds & Disallow Refunds Not Linked to Existing Order #
Enable Refunds
Allows the system to process refunds. To disable refund functionality entirely, turn this setting off.
Disallow Refunds Not Linked to an Existing Order
When enabled, refunds can only be processed if linked to an existing sales receipt. No receipt = No refund.
Access Lifelong POS Portal #
Navigate to https://login.lifelongpos.com/ or https://manage.acadiapos.com/login

Open Settings #
Click the “Settings” tab on the left-hand side of the page.

Access General Settings #
Click “General settings”

Locate Refund Settings #
You can use Ctrl + F on Windows or Command + F on Mac to quickly find this setting header.
Scroll down or search for the Refunds subcategory.
- Enable Refunds: This allows the system to process refunds. To disable refunds, turn this off.
- Disallow Refunds Not Linked to Existing Order: When enabled, refunds must be linked to an existing sales receipt.

Save Settings #
Scroll down and click SAVE at the bottom of the page.
