Allow Backorders #

Allowing backorders will allow the POS system to ring up an item and go into the negative.

Step 1: Log in to Lifelong POS #

Navigate to https://login.lifelongpos.com/

Step 2: Click “Settings” #

Step 3: Select “General Settings” #

Step 4: Enable Backorders #

Under the Stock Management section, enable the option for Allow Backorders.

Step 5: Save Your Changes #

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

Step 6: POS Will Allow Negative Inventory #

When backorders are enabled, item quantity can go into the negative during checkout.
