Creating Discounts : All Cart Items / Buy X, Set Price To Amount On Matched Items #
✅ How It Works #
Trigger condition: Customer must buy at least X items in the cart (across all or selected categories/products).
Reward: The selected items in the cart are offered at a fixed price (example, $15 each, instead of their original $20).
1. Create a new discount rule #
Use the “All Cart Items / Buy X, Set Price To Amount On Matched Items” option.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below.
2. Navigate to Lifelong POS Login #
Go to https://login.lifelongpos.com/ in a web browser.
3. Click on the “Items” tab #
4. Click on “Price/Discount Rules” #
5. Create a new discount #
Click on “New Price/Discount Rule”.
6. Name your discount #
Click the “Name” field and type in the name of your discount.
Example: “Buy 3 Raz Set Price To $15 Each”
7. Choose the discount type #
Select “All Cart Items / Buy X, Set Price To Amount On Matched Items”.
8. Select products or categories #
Use the “Type to search” box to add products. You may also select categories but not both.
9. Add additional products #
Click the dropdown and select more items for the discount, such as another RAZ flavor.
10. Review and modify product list #
Ensure all items are listed. To remove one, click the X next to the product name.
11. Set discount conditions #
Under “Amount”, enter the fixed price per item.
In “Buy X”, enter the required quantity (e.g., 15).
12. Save the discount rule #
Click “Save Changes” to apply.
13. Customize timing options #
Days of the Week: Specify active days.
Hours of the Day: Set time ranges (e.g., Happy Hour).
Start & End Dates: Define a timeframe for the discount.
Use these options to fine-tune availability.
14. Verify discount in POS #
When 3 items are added, POS displays original ($20) and discounted ($15) prices.
- Cart shows updated discounted price.
- Total discount displays as $5 off per item, $15 total.
