🎯 How this Discount Works #

1. Minimum Subtotal Requirement: The customer must have a cart subtotal that meets or exceeds a specified amount (e.g., $100).
2. Discount Application: Once the minimum subtotal is reached, a fixed-amount discount (e.g., $10) is applied to eligible items in the cart.
3. Eligibility Criteria: The discount can be set to apply to all items in the cart or to specific products or categories.

This discount structure encourages higher cart totals, boosting average order value.

Create a New Discount Rule #

Use the “All Cart Items / Buy Min Subtotal, Get Fixed Amount On Matched Items” option to set up your promotion.

Navigate to the Lifelong POS Portal #

Go to https://login.lifelongpos.com/ on a web browser.

Click on the “Items” Tab #

Select “Price/Discount Rules” #

Create a New Price/Discount Rule #

Click on “New Price/Discount Rule” to begin creating your discount.

Name Your Discount #

Click the “Name” field and enter a clear name, such as “Spend $100 get $10 off.”

Select the Discount Type #

Choose “All Cart Items / Buy Min Subtotal, Get Fixed Amount On Matched Items.”

Configure Product Eligibility #

Click the “Apply To All Products” dropdown and select “True”.

(Optional) Select “False” to apply the discount only to specific products or categories.

Set Discount Values #

In the “Amount” field, enter the discount amount (e.g., $10).
In the “Buy X” field, enter the minimum spend threshold (e.g., $100).

Save Your Discount Rule #

Click “Save Changes” to apply your new discount settings.

Additional Discount Customization Options #

1. Days of the Week: Set which days the discount will be active.
2. Hours of the Day: Limit the discount to specific time windows (e.g., Happy Hour).
3. Start & End Dates: Define the valid date range for the discount.

Use these settings to fine-tune when the discount is available to customers.
