🎯 Cart Item Discount – Fixed Amount (One-Time Use Per Item) #

This discount applies a fixed dollar amount off each item, but only once per item.

Example: If you apply a $10 off discount to a product using this method, each item in the cart will receive a $10 discount—one time per item.

Perfect for promotions like: “$10 off any single bottle of vape juice (One time use)”

Create a New Discount Rule #

Let’s create a new discount rule using the “Cart Item / Fixed Amount” option. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Navigate to Lifelong POS #

Go to https://login.lifelongpos.com/ on a web browser.

Click on the “Items” Tab #

Click on “Price/Discount Rules” #

Create a New Discount #

Click on “New Price/Discount Rule” to create a new discount.

Name Your Discount #

Click the “Name” field and enter a name for your discount.
(Example: “Raz 10% Off”)

Select Discount Type #

Choose the “Cart Item / Fixed Amount” option to set a fixed discount price for products.

Select Products or Categories #

Click the “Type to search” box under products to choose the items or categories for the discount. Do not select both individual products and categories at the same time.

Add Additional Products #

To add another product, use the dropdown and select additional items.

Review Selected Products #

Once your items are listed, confirm them. Click the X to remove any. Click the arrow to proceed.

Set Discount Amount #

Enter the discount amount in the “Amount” field. (Example: 10 for $10 off)

Save the Discount Rule #

Click “Save Changes”.

Additional Customization Options #

1. Days of the Week: Choose which days the discount applies.
2. Hours of the Day: Specify time periods, like Happy Hour.
3. Start & End Dates: Set a schedule for your discount.

These options allow precise control over discount timing.
