How to Set Up a Customer Notes Field Using Attributes #

1. Log in to Lifelong POS #
Navigate to https://login.lifelongpos.com/

2. Access the Customers Tab #
Click on the Customers tab on the left-hand menu.

3. Open Customer Attributes #
Click Customer Attributes in the upper-right corner.

4. Create a New Attribute #
Press the + New Customer Attribute button.

5. Fill in Attribute Details #
- Attribute Code: Notes
- Attribute Name: Customer Notes
- Custom Attribute Type: STRING
- Frontend Input Type: Text or TextArea
- Show On Customer List: Enabled

6. Save the Attribute #
Click Save Changes.

Tip: Once created, this field will be visible in the customer profile and can be updated anytime.
7. Add Customer Notes #
Return to the Customers tab to locate a profile.

8. Edit the Profile and Add Notes #
Click the pencil icon beside the customer’s name. Scroll to Customer Attributes and type in the Customer Notes field.

9. Save Notes #
Click Save to confirm changes.

10. View Notes Column #
The notes field will now appear in the Customer List view as a column labeled Customer Notes.
