✅ How It Works #
Trigger condition: Customer must buy at least X items in the cart (across all or selected categories/products).
Reward: They will receive the specified cart discount amount—for example, $15 off applied directly in the cart.
1. Create a new discount rule #
Use the “All Cart Items / Buy X, Get Fixed Amount” option. Follow the instructions below.
2. Log in to the POS system #
Navigate to https://login.lifelongpos.com/ on a web browser.
3. Click the “Items” tab #
4. Access Price/Discount Rules #
Click “Price/Discount Rules” at the top right.
5. Create a new discount #
Click “New Price/Discount Rule”.
6. Name your discount #
Click the “Name” field and type a descriptive name. Example: “Buy 3 Raz – Get $5 Off Each One”
7. Select the discount type #
Choose “All Cart Items / Buy X, Get Fixed Amount”.
8. Add products or categories #
Use the “Type to search” box to add products or categories. Avoid selecting both at the same time.
9. Add more products #
Click the dropdown to add additional items.
10. Review product list #
Ensure all items are listed. Click the X to remove any item.
11. Set discount conditions #
Enter the fixed discount amount and specify the number of items required to qualify. Example: Buy 15 to get $15 off.
12. Save your changes #
Click “Save Changes” to apply the discount rule.
13. Customize additional settings #
- Days of the Week: Specify active days for the discount.
- Hours of the Day: Set specific times (e.g., Happy Hour).
- Start & End Dates: Define the period for which the discount is valid.
These options provide more control over discount availability.
14. See discount in action #
When qualifying items are added to the cart, the discount is applied automatically. Example: $15 off for 3 eligible items.
