Create a new Category on the Point Of Sale register #

Follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Navigate to Lifelong POS login #

https://login.lifelongpos.com/

Click the “Items” tab #

Click the “View Categories” button #

Click the “New Category” button #

Fill out the Category name #

Select “Visible” from the “Status” dropdown #

(Optional) Set the display order number #

If you want the categories to appear alphabetically, leave this option blank.

(Optional) Specify a Parent Category #

Example: If the main category is “Disposables” and you’re creating a subcategory “Geekbar,” assign the parent category accordingly.

(Optional) Upload a category image #

This image will display on the POS system.

(Optional) Add a description of the category #

Click “Save Changes” #

Ensure all your information is correct before saving.
