1. Navigate to the POS Management System #
https://login.lifelongpos.com/
2. Click “Items” #
3. Click “Price/Discount Rules” #
4. Click “New Price/Discount Rule” #
5. Select Price Rule Type: Cart Item / Buy x, Get Amount Free #
6. Define Products, Categories, Brands, or Vendors for the Discount #
Products: Individual items the discount applies to.
Categories: Applies discount to all items in selected categories.
Brands: Applies only to items under selected brands.
Vendors: Applies to items associated with specific vendors.
7. (Optional) Configure Locations, Days, and Hours #
Locations: Choose where the discount is active. Leave blank for all locations.
Days of Week: Select days when the rule is active. Leave blank for all days.
Hours Active: Define time of day the rule applies. Leave blank for all day.
8. Set Discount Details #
Amount: Number of items given for free (e.g., 1 = 1 free item).
Buy X: Quantity customer must buy to get discount (e.g., buy 3 get 1 free).
Max Cart Qty: Max quantity eligible for the discount (e.g., 12 items max).
9. Click “Save Changes” #
10. Test the Discount at POS #
Always test your discount setup in POS. Contact support via call, text, or email if you need assistance.
